Took the Denali in for a couple of items. One was the roof rail molding was pulling away from the rail on the drivers side. They had to replace the rail. In doing this they drop the headliner. Picked the truck up and was in a hurry to get home, had to pick up a trailer to get some furniture last weekend. Today I'm loading some stuff in the tail gate and look up to see half of the molding in the back not snapped back in.
People in the parking lot must have thought I was crazy putting the trim pieces back together.
I hate taking my vehicle in for repairs. How nice it would be to have a dealership which cares.

While cleaning up the Denali this past weekend, I found a whole bunch of some sort of Glue the dealer used to put the headliner up. It was all over the passenger side of the roof. Took about an hour of clay baring to get the paint smooth and then seal it again. I HATE GM dealerships!!!

All Dealerships are the same. As long as you have Mechanics working Flat rate you are going to have repairs that are substandard. Quick let me get this done and move on to the next job. ******** on you Dealers!! you wonder why you have low CSI rating or worse go out of Bussines. It's Frickin time to Wake Up! oh yeah that's why I got out of the business , Commission ****** Sucks. ya get It?

I've had one dealership which cares. Unfortunately, GM won't let a Chevy dealer work on a GMC. Plain sucks. This will be my last GM vehicle. I am tired of piss poor service and the BS from GM. I still have the rattle in the truck, trans is still sluggish, camera doesn't work and the rear windows sound like a 747 taking off when rolled down or up. Here please take another $70K and give me a ************* vehicle.
Time to look at Ford or Toyota for a full size SUV.

Since when does a GMC dealer not work on a Chevy? Had warranty work done for years on my GMC at the local Chevy store. Never an issue.....

Also had work done at the Cadillac store....they have nicer loaners.

I contacted GMC to get the work done at the Chevy dealership and was told it could not be done. I asked about trying to get the oil changes and tire rotation done locally at the Chevy dealer, again no was the answer.

I used to drive my Suburban from DC to Baytown TX every year. Chevy service Dept was ok, but GMC service department across the street was top notch. Have not been back to TX since end of 2013
