I have the dealer installed headrest dvd players from invision in my truck. One does not play dvds the others headphone jack will not work. I can buy replacements on eBay for around 400 for both that are used or new for a few hundred more. I could also buy a roof mounted 10 plus inch system for under 300 and 4 kids could watch and I wouldn't have to use portable player for the third row. I just wanted to get some opions on what to do. Thank you for any ideas.

I'm not trying to be a d!ck in saying this but I would suggest asking the people who would be watching the screens for what they would prefer... :2cents:

Haha, I don't care what they want. They get what I tell them. :D. I think I am leaning towards the roof mounted so they can all watch and not have to have four screens. Also I figured it would be cheaper in the long run.

As long as all four can watch the same thing and not complain I'd say go roof mounted. Otherwise, the separate screens could be nice if they can't find one good movie to watch together.

Seriously? You'd ask your kids which one they want?! Who cares what they WANT? I have never once even let my kids turn the DVD player on. Not. Once. Look out the damn window or read a book.

Now give each kid their own screen cause they ***** about what's on it? How about "shut up and watch this documentary about what real life is like"

Now we're talking. The only bad thing with the drop down is that it can block your rear view...
