4WD? look at the CV shafts could be one of those. Depending on how old your are then you drop a leveling kit on the truck could have pushed an old CV shaft to its breaking point. If it is one of them it will for sure get worse and could end up busting all together. Being new I would say that a fail is less likely but not sure how many miles you have on your truck. But still never know.

I doubt its a CV shaft. I put money its upper control arm frame bushings. My old Yukon did the same thing on passenger after keys and I replaced it once it got bad enough. About a month after new ac delco arm installed it started again. Sold it before it wore out bad enough. My Denali does the same pop but on driver side even with my lift and lift UCAs. I haven't confirmed it the frame bushings yet but thinking so.

How could I check to see if the CV joints or bushing are bad?

Post up pictures and someone here can likely help you inspect or show you where. Pics of the suspension not the entire truck.

Update, took the escalade to the dealer and they fixed the pop. Turns out it was the bolts on the lower control arms were loose. Re-torqued to spec pop gone.
