I'm looking at toyo r/t and I'm wondering if y'all think I could fit 285 75 18 or if I should just go with 33 12.50. I have keys and spacers as well as z71 coils. I'm pretty sure I'm sitting around 40" at all four corners. I'll measure when I get off. Thank you

the 285s should fit without much effort.

I use the website https://www.wheel-size.com/calc/ to calculate wheel and tire changes, to see where I might have trouble.

Put in the measurements with your current setup, and what you want to go to, and it'll tell you where you might have trouble.

I THINK 33/12.50 require trimming, but I haven't actually bought them and fitted them.

285/75/18's are close to 35" tall, gonna be tough to squeeze them in the wheelwells without doing some cutting - 285/75/16's are just shy of 33", so add the extra 2" for wheel size....

33x12.5's will also require trimming, but maybe not as much. I've heard that they will fit on 16x8's with a stock (or close) offset, and won't rub on the a-arms

Hmm well I don't mind trimming since I'm gonna try and keep it forever! I wish there was a way I could just go and try out a fairly new set just to get an idea. I do want a somewhat stuffed look. If need be I plan on running some wheel adapters as well. I've just seen where some guy stuffed 35's with minor problems and then some rub decently with just 33. Thank you guys for the help I really appreciate it!

I've got 275/70r18 on an 18x10 and trimmed the lower valance and have no rubbing issues, but it's close, I'd go with 285/70r18 maybe.

Awesome thanks for the advice. I'm starting to lean toward that size.

Now I remember that toyo doesn't have 285 70 on the r/t so there's that unfortunately.
