Hello Everyone,
Looking to install a hidden switch to unlock the doors on my 01 Tahoe like in vehicles such as ambulances with the switch behind the grill. My vehicle is used as an emergency medical response unit and I need to be able to have everyone able to get into the truck for equipment with out throwing keys around. If anyone has an idea on what wires I need to splice off of only need it to unlock the doors. Thanks!

Why not go to the local guys who outfit the EMS vehicles - they may know how to do it.

Can you just leave it open? If you're at a scene and there's Police there I wouldn't think many people would just walk up to an EMS car and look around inside.

I'd think just splicing into the Unlock portion of your door switch would do it.

If you have an extra keyfob with the remote lock/unlock buttons, use some Velcro and attach it to the inside of your gas filler door. Easy to access, and removable when you aren't on the scene.
