I assume this can be done but I haven't figured it out yet. Can anyone tell me how to pair the wireless headphones from a 2017 Yukon with my 2012 Yukon?

I'm not sure about the 2017 headphones but the older ones are infrared and had a switch to change from channel 1 to channel 2.... Other than that there was no pairing at least not like in the sense of a Bluetooth device. Infrared just has to be in line of sight to work.

That was my assumption since they're IR. They also have a channel button on them that I have pushed but still can't seem to connect to the sound.

That's strange... I wonder if they run a different frequency.... Have you verified that your IR transmitter is functional?

If you don't have any other headphones that you can test with then may I suggest looking at the IR transmitter through the camera in your phone, if they are working you will see them lit up on your camera.

Good idea! I'll check them out when I get home. Thanks!

Just to clarify... I was meaning to look at the IR transmitter on your TV or whatever you are trying to listen to... Not the IR receiver on the headphones.

I am sure you are smart enough to figure that out but just wanted to clarify since it didn't seem real clear to me after rereading my post... Lol
