I like what Cattivo posted here. Train horns...thought about those too...lol trouble YES, fun YES...

For sure color match everything you can. I have an LS and nothing was color matched from the factory. I ended up getting everything color matched including my mirrors (the entire assembly, not just the cap). Very happy with the outcome. Tow mirrors are not my thing, but they look good on the lifted trucks. That one is a personal preference toss up. Just get the chrome ones to set off 05Single....lol

Hope that helps a bit.
I like the full mirror painted and that's what I planned on doing. And I do like the idea of getting chrome just for 05single

I still need to install my horns after I resolve a few electrical issues, I only intend on using the horns for people who sit at green lights texting or the inconsiderate people crossing the street texting :D

IMHO... keeping the tow mirrors black will result in an more OEM look rather than wasting money on color matching them, at the end of the day it's what you prefer brother
I'll be doing the color matching myself so I'm only paying for the paint and sandpaper

just ordered some paint from Automotive Touchup to get my vent caps painted, and maybe colormatch the side mirrors.

Then just need to decide if Black housing head lights and bumper lights will look bad on the white truck, and if I should get the clear/chrome housings instead.

any opinions?

I like smoked lights, if you're going to get clear ones you might as well just clean up the stock ones

I like my chrome ones with amberless bumper lights.

I guess try to match both whichever way you decide.

Good luck in the color match. Prep work is the key as you probably already know. Will look good.

I'm gonna put in Depo's in the front, and buy the bumper lights that are a series of LEDs, then re-place and rewire them with switchbacks, have them always on, and "switchback" with signal. The Depos are for better light.

I don't really want smoked, because I don't want to lose output. Too dark where I live.

Yeah, I love the way your lights look up front. I had been dead set on black housings for a while, but then I realized I liked that look on trucks here that were all dark, or at least, not white.

I'm worried the black housings on the front of the white will make it look darker than I want. But it might also make it fade into the grill inserts at distance, creating an infinite grill type look.

If you're not 100% sure wether to color match the tow mirrors or not, you can do what I usually do... get some blue painters tape and cover whatever you want to color match with the tape, paint the part to get an idea what it's going to look like and if you don't like the look you simply peel it off

Take a few pics with and without the mirrors painted for your own reference, make a decision on what you like best and take it from there
