I have 3 cracks by the passenger side airbag and I am less than 20K.
:mad::flamingdevil:

I feel your pain.

Will the caddy dash fit on your truck? May need to look into that. I have an 08 and no dash crack since owning it.

Replaced the sway bar links and the brake switch.

No more clank noise over bumps, she's cornering like I never knew she could, and I have cruise control again.

All for less than 60 bucks and an hour of install time. All of the knowledge to make these fixes came from the TYF. Thanks TYFers!!!

What symptom was the brake switch showing?

Got mine to 10 bucks from Walmart online if you can beleive it. Made a huge difference in how quick my brake lights illuminate.

Before, I could hold a brake just a tiny bit and the 3rd would illuminate but not the tails.

Replaced both front brake calipers and now can't get proper brake pressure. It's a monsoon out here so she's parked until weather behaves. I also replaced the brake fluid via drawing it out of my Vacuum bleeder that hooks up to by air-compressor and still can not get the brake pressure that I had prior to my Driver side brake caliper freezing up on me. Oh the woes of owning this truck so far! LMAO

Anytime there is a chance of getting air in the brake lines you are supposed to bleed the abs pump by hooking up something like a tech2 scanner and activating the ABS pump... It will pulse and cause the air to move further down the line out of the pumps body and then you bleed it out at the caliper.

If you don't have a computer to perform this task you can do it the "redneck"/"shade tree" mechanic way....

Step 1.Find a dirt or gravel road

Step 2. Drive your truck above 30 MPH.

Step 3. Slam on your brakes so that the ABS pump engages. Do this a few times. Truck must be above 30 MPH.

Step 4. Bleed brakes.

Step 5. Repeat steps 2 - 4 until brake pedal is firm and air stops coming out of calipers upon bleeding.

Not sure. Thankfully the wife drives it so I only have to look at it while cleaning it or on the weekends when the family heads out and I'm driving. :)

Love that HD hood. Wish they had one similar for the NNBS trucks!?!

Yessir. The HD hood is a winner with that easy swap for the NBS Tahoes/Suburbans.
