Okay so I ran across a killer deal for a set of brand new OEM GMC 2500 Wheels with brand new Michelin defenders for $425 obviously they wont fit on my 2005 Denali without wheel adapters. All I can find online space the wheels out 2" Ive read through a couple posts of guys wanting to do this for cosmetic reasons, My reason is new tires and wheels for $425.....

Any words of caution? Im not off roading but am putting my wife and kids in the Denali and Im worried about putting stress on the bearings and such.

Make sure you get the hub centric ones and you should have no problems with safety, make sure you trim the studs if they stick out farther than 2 inches, idk about the ball joints and bearings

As 02Tahoe said above, just get the correct spacers/adapters, you'll be fine.

Couldn't find any hubcentric ones, they would be preferred. You could always contact one of the vendors, see if they would make you a set. However, you're most likely talking around $200-300 for a set, almost negating the savings on the wheel/tire combo you just bought.

However.... 8 lugs would be the shit!!! It'd be worth it just for the COOL factor!
