Anyone tried these out for our Tahoe's? What did you think of them?

Haven't had the ultras. I ran the zxe in my 08 and enjoyed them. Only reason I bought them tho is because with discounts and coupons I got them for 30 bucks for the low beams

Added the Silver to low beam, a while later replaced the high beam with Ultra, what a good combination, the high beam is brighter. JMHO

I tried them in 2 vehicles. They put out a lot of light, but only lasted a year.

I second konvict's comment.
Ive used alot of Sylvania bulbs and i love thier output but they dont last long enough. I dont mind it so much on a vehicle i can easily change the bulbs on.

That's what I have read is they don't last long. I really want led lights but every time I think I have found the one I want it seems 50 percent of the people who bought that brand like them and 50 percent hate them.

I've had every bulb Sylvania makes along with almost every "white" bulb from other manufacturers in different cars and none of the halogen white output bulbs last more than 12/13 months. Fog light applications were even less. I switched to HIDs and got sick of the constant "what's wrong with them now" headaches. Went with LEDs and that's where I'm staying. I had OPT7 lows in my Silverado for 3 years without a hiccup and never got flashed or complained at due to blinding people, then again I spent 1/2 hour on a dark road aiming them.

You'll spend 4 times as much constantly replacing halogen bulbs and 10 times as much with HID until you finally cave in and get a quality set of LEDs.

The LED lumin output as well as the lens technology has really improved over the last 5 years.
