I have a Suburban, and the the factory sub box isn't as deep as the sub box on a Tahoe or SWB Yukon. The gas filler neck is in the way, so the box is shallower. I have an 8" Kicker sub that I have seen others fit just fine in Tahoe sub boxes, but it doesn't quite fit into the box in my Burban.

Installed some Kenwood Coaxials in the front doors. Foam surrounds completely gone on the stock ones. Hence why I was only getting highs from the tweets. Also, installed my MB Quart Sub. Total drop in and hooked up in parallel for the wiring. My stock sub foam surround fix only lasted a few months.20170301_172029.jpg 20170301_172600.jpg 20170301_173732.jpg 20170301_173942.jpg 20170301_173956.jpg

Finally got full sound and nice bass.

Just noticed in the pics that I should have put the old screws back in the original screw holes in the sub box.20170301_172600.jpg
