interesting and good to know. I can see why they revised the system because the 15 setup is way too sensitive, IMO. As I said before we've had ours off since 1st week of ownership and if I recall many on here had the same opinion with their 15.

So did you get your seat to vibrate? I'm unclear on that. It should vibrate. If not, you should take it to the dealer. Other people on here have had the issue where their safety seat has stopped vibrating.

Ya it does. It's just so much less than it used to on my 15 bit now I know why from the article I posted above. It's just a totally different system.

Is there a menu where this can be adjusted? I seem to only get the seat alert for forward and rear parking assist. I was under the impression that it was supposed to go off with the lane assist as well, I feel the steering wheel turn to correct itself but wont vibrate.

No if u getcthe vibrate with rear and front u are good. If u feel he correction u are good. The beep and seat vibrate is only if u don't self correct. If u grow itself into another lane he trick doesn't respond cause it knows u are doing it. In other words if the truck feels any movement of the steering wheel it won't do anything.

Rad the link I put up. It's all there.

Oh man sorry for not reading that before that was very informative! This is the fanciest vehicle I've ever owned and was trying to prompt the seat vibration by purposely drifting. I was hoping for it to be ultra sensitive. Thanks again!

No problem. If u want a very sensitive version u need the 15 model before it changed. It went off if a bee flew by ur window. My wife loved he 15 version. She hates the 16-17 version.

But compared to other cars out there like our Volvo or a BMW. How it acts now is how these cars act.

they get rid of the vibrating seat for when u leave a lane without blinker or sway off road on the 17? I see there is a green amber car in dash but no vibrate. I got it turned on.

Thanks!
That’s what the dealership told me. I apparently don’t have the seat alert except when backing up and I’m close to something. All I have is the green car in the dash also. It does turn Amber when I get too close to the edges of the road. Today I noticed that it would disappear briefly from the screen and come back on but the button still indicated it was on. Thoughts?

Can anyone confirm if my system is operating correctly? I have a 2019 GMC Yukon SLT with lane keep assist as part of the build sheet data. In my opinion, the lane keep assist works very well. The lane keep assist icon will change from GREEN to AMBER and then the electric steering will attempt to correct me. It is very accurate and does a good job.

However, if I don't signal and the vehicle does move out of the lane, nothing happens. The icon doesn't flash at all and just turns off completely as if it is no longer detecting any lane markings. In the two months I have owned the vehicle I have never experienced a lane departure warning of any kind. I have my alerts set to AUDIBLE so I should be hearing a beep rather than a seat vibration.

However I am getting proper beeping for the front and rear parking sensors. But, I don't get any beeping for the blind spot alert. The symbol in the mirror will flash but I do not get any audible alert for that either.

I'm trying to determine if everything is functioning as intended or not. From my searching there is no sound answer as it seems vehicle owners have a lot of varying things to say about lane keep assist/lane departure warning.
