Throttle Body - OEM or Aftermarket

I am planning on replacing the throttle body on my 07 Tahoe and was trying to decide if I should go with the OEM or aftermarket. Hitachi is the manufacture of the part from Advance Auto Parts.

Anyone have experience with aftermarket.

I have a Jet throttle body seems like a good quality piece and a slight but noticeable performance improvement.

Jim,

I have been getting intermittent error codes for the TPS and it has been hesitating on acceleration. I have cleaned 2-3 times over the last 5 years and I have 220k on it.

I would change the TPS sensor as it would be a cheaper option if available for your year model.

Jim, good point. I did look on GMdirect and I didn't notice an option to purchase the TPS separately but I'll look around.

Chris, do you mean instead of or in addition to changing the TPS?
