I have not been able to find much info here on what the real benefits are, or if there are any, in using the Diablosport intune on the 2016 Escalade.. Does anyone have any input? I see there's tons of info on how it helps the 5.3 liter out, but does it really do anything meaningful for the 6.2 liter/8 speed? (Diablo does support it now) I mean my escalade shifts pretty well, even when it does upshift too soon sometimes, the massive torque of the veicle just allows it to pull hard regardless, so abrupt downshifts are not even needed...

On their website, they say the tuner offers a 87 canned tune, which increases horsepower and lets you run regular,, This would be great, (if true, it would allow me to save on gas and slightly increase the power)., Unless,,, there might be some reliability issues down the road by using regular????

Here's my new ride, by the way! (Nothing out of the ordinary,, just a standard escalade, esv 4x420170218_174633.jpg .. I picked it up for $67k plus tax, I really need to get rid of the 20's on it for some 22s. Thanks!

For your engine compression, you should be running 89 at a minimum. Diablo can't tune the 8spd.

It shows on their site that the can, I also called them to confirm. What makes you think otherwise?

A few customers mentioned that the TCM could not be tuned. Perhaps that has changed though.

I went with a IPF/KPE tune before - it was amazing

Woke up the low end but more importantly completely fixed the gear hunting at speeds under 40mph
