Oil Leak Location Identified (What part is this?)

Hoping someone can tell me where/what part of the engine/drivetrain this is where my leak is coming from. Probably am easy/stupid question, but while I'm handy I don't know how to readily identify engine/drivetrain components. Pic is below. I cleaned everything up really good and let it sit for about an hour. The leak is coming from where those 2 components meet. You can see the start of the seepage (where it is brown). What are those 2 components, and I assume the issue is whatever seal there is between them correct? Thanks in advance.

That is your oil pan and transmission in the picture. There are a number of seals in that area that could be leaking. If you can't determine easily, then I recommend you visit a mechanic.

Is it oil or tranny fluid that's leaking?
