Hi, all!
Just got my first Tahoe, I've been hanging around the forum for a couple of months getting ideas since I found out this unit was going to be coming up for auction.
It's a 2003 SSV 2WD 5.3 from a local department, it has 154K on it and 3800 engine hours.
Maintenance has been outstanding, and all the common issues (cluster, trans, fuel pump, etc.) have been dealt with already.
It's Indigo Blue metallic. All badging and side moldings have already been removed during the course of it's career to accommodate the several different graphics packages it's worn. Luggage rack is gone as well, so it's already looking pretty smooth.
It has it's share of bumps, bruises and scratches (and even a bullet hole!), which just give it character.
The only improvements I'm planning on right now are to paint the wheels black and add the PPV center caps, install an air dam extension, and add a factory console if I can find one reasonably priced. I also want to lower the rear, don't know why it's so high (38”!).
