Could just be a universal tube with a bend in it like any other simple intake tube you can buy off eBay to make your own. Whatever it is, it appears to be connected using standard hardware store rubber plumbing reducers. It may even be a piece of PVC, like from a 3' sweep 90 (electrical, not plumbing). I think some better clamps or even just rotating the clamps so the excess is on bottom would make it all look better.

Funny they try to make it sound like AirRaid but it's Air Aid lol. Looks like a Air POS to me.

I didn't look closer , is it not airaid? I thought it looked fishy lol. I just figure airaid plastic and metal is much more $$ than the ebay generics lol

Plus my plans were always to do just a mit with a drop in.
I'm just looking for a intake pipe that's not a $100.

That first pic is an eBay special $55 shipped it also has an open filter with a very raggedy metal box. I've bought two both with little to no improvement. The second one I bought was just for looks. I've seen a few (including a friend) order it and just use the tube and rubber to connect it to the factory box. He said he could tell a difference with it like this but who knows. I went ahead and ordered the air aid MIT. Hope I like it. If anything it gives a much better factory look and maybe a more agrressive sound from the engine bay lol @05Single
