hey there, I just acquired a 2010 LT Tahoe with backup sensors and the basic mirror. My question is, how much work is involved and money is it do the following options. Which would be easiest.

1: install nav in place of current radio, does any nav unit work from 2008-2013?

2: same as above, but with the addition of a factory backup camera? And incorporating it into the nav

3: install factory backup camera and get the backup mirror.

Is there any factory pre-wiring in the vehicle that would make it easier, would current radio plugs work or be need changed. I read about having to flash the radio with the VIN. The backup camera would be nice but not mandatory, I feel the NAV would be more used but if I can incorporate the backup that would be great. Thank you very much,
Donald

A stock system is way expensive. Look at a place like Crutchfield to start. For an aftermarket unit. I think you'll be way more happy with it. Not saying to buy from Crutchfield. Just look at their units and things you need etc. etc. And install costs. You'll end up with a way better unit that fits exactly in the same place. And does way more. Depending on how much you spend. Look around on amazon at well reviewed units. I'm in the same situation as you. And I thought putting in the stock oem unit would be the cheapest route. But it's not and you get a better unit. They even make ones that run on android that are super simple to use. But do alot. There are alot more options besides stock.
