Maybe I haven't been a long time owner. I live in Utah and have been driving a 2001 Yukon XL for the past six or seven years. Its been good and has some 130k or so miles on it. I'm finally at a point where I am going to make it a worthy camping vehicle and light/mod offroad. I've thought about getting rid of it a few times to get a truck. Its paid for, Ill just keep driving it, if I eventually need to put a new motor in it then I do. So, here's what I'm thinking for my needs, probably in this order too:

4"lift - don't think I need anymore for my needs
33" or 35" tires
Cold air intake
Exhaust
Tune
Roof rack
lights for roof rack
front bumper
rear bumper with swing away spare

A co-worker suggested I put a rear locking deferential on it. All the reading I've done and people I've known that do that are more serious in their offroading. I'll be on the fire roads and mild-moderate offroading is all.

Its nice to finally be in the forums....
