Looking for details on max size for tires without NorCal mod, with Rough Country 2.5" front leveling kit. Is there a sticky anywhere? Not sure if I'm doing 17, 18 or 20" wheels, but interested in overall size. I'd like to go tall and normal width, not super wide, for better rain/snow performance.

Probably a 34x11 with some trimming of the front brace behind the liner. Maybe small NorCal mod. A guy on here stuffed some 35s with rubbing and cutting a bunch.

33" equivalents aren't a problem?

I have the 2" 49.99 rough country kit in the front of my Tahoe. 275/60r20 clear fine. Before the leveling kit went on they would leave light rub marks on sway bar and wheel well. Pic is before and after

There's a thread on here somewhere where a guy fit 285/55r22s on his Denali with just a 2.5" front level. That's about 34.3x11. It looked great. Obviously he had to trim a lot of plastic, remove the air dam and boards, but I can't recall whether he did the Norcal mod.

Here's a pic of his truck that I saved for inspiration back when I had 22s on the Suburban.
