Anyone fixes their own service park assist?

Has anyone tackled the service park assist themselves? I have it on our 07 Yukon Denali. I have scanned the codes and it showed a short to voltage on the left most sensor. I tried to just replace that sensor with no luck. So I'm looking to dig In to it more. I have done a ton of research and it seems there is three wires going to the sensor. I believe that one is voltage, one is ground, and one is signal.. at least it sounds right. So if there is a short to voltage that must mean the signal wire is getting constant voltage? I suppose that would either mean a short sensor (already ruled out since I replaced it), or wiring. Anyone know how or where they are routed? Or heard of this happening? The only other issue I have heard is possible corrosion at the sensor brain under the passenger seat...

Any ideas on where to start?

I get this error all the time and I just wipe off the sensors and camera and it always goes away. Maybe I'm just lucky

Yeah I may try that, I have changed the "faulty" sensor or what may be faulty with no luck. I also took the rear bumped skin off the other day to check wiring behind it between the sensors and saw nothing obvious inside the wiring loom and didn't see anything that would lead me to believe its a short. I also know that the "brain" is under the passenger seat, I moved the seat as far forward as possible and checked under there for the same thing (broken wires etc) and found nothing.

The wire loom at the rear bumper inserts into the cabin right above the tail pipe and must run along the door sills up to the passenger seat. Being that this is a new to us vehicle I do not know the history but its obvious the b pillar interior panel has been removed and reinstalled very poorly. This weekend I plan on removing that and hoping there is an obvious pinched wire or loom.

anyone removed their door sill plates? It looks like its all snaps/clips but wanted to ask before I rip them off and damage. Just wasn't sure if there was hidden screws under the "Denali" plates.

I found a tip on the net that said to do in a very quiet place or garage turn vehicle on but don't start, put in reverse and go to the back and put your ear up to each sensor and if its working you will hear a slight buzzing noise the one that doesn't is the bad one.

I attempted to listen to each one with a mechanic stethascope, none of them made noise. Perhaps it has all of them shut down due to being a fault.

I took the b pillar trim piece off also, with no luck, never did find any sign of worn wires, so now I am at a lost as to what is the issue. The code was for a short to voltage on the drivers side rear but I have replaced it, as well as check 80% of the wiring up to it...
