What is a good cheap scanner that will read engine light codes and air bag codes as well? Ive seen a couple cheap ones on amazon. Or is there a programmer/tuner that i can tune my truck with and also scan for codes and monitor o2 sensors and etc??

Get a bluetooth obd2 reader and the torque app for your phone. Inexpensive and easy.

Torque will also work well on some of the android head units.

Thanks for the replies. Ill look into torque. Someone local is selling an innovator reader for 75 that does cel and airbag codes. Is there anything that reads those along with monitoring sensors and stuff?

Autel MD802 is one of the best/affordable scanners currently on the market IMO. There was just a lightning sale on Amazon last week for $136.... I should have posted it :(

Still a great unit for ~$180. Will also read TPMS codes, BCM and more. It even picked up that we have an unplugged window switch on my wife's minivan (part of a recall fix)

Hmm i like that. Now one more question. Is there any tuners/programmers that are also code readers as well?

Superchips also works as a code reader, but none are as capable as some of the scanners mentioned.

For a tune, I'd go with Autocal.
