Driver Door not Closed....for a second

I am getting the obnoxious alarm that when I put it in gear that my door is not closed all of the way. It lasts for a second and then goes away. I have looked up the parts, but am unsure what I am buying. Some places onset the connectors, can't seem to find a switch. What usually goes when this fails?

I think it's the latch assembly. How are the door pins in your truck ? If the door pins are gone and you keep shutting your door when it is sagging the the door latch takes a veering and most of it is plastic. In that latch is also the door pin switch for the interior lights and buzzer. Have a look at both.
