Hey guys, I have a pioneer avh5800bhs, bose system, the metra harnesses to make everything work...

2011 tahoe lt, non nav originally, backup cam in rearview

I was wondering how to integrate an aftermarket amp and subwoofer and bypass the bose setup?

Im still deciding on the setup and placement, but im just not sure how everything with bose is set up.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, i tried searching around but I didn't find anything too specific, maybe its because I am not inclined at these things..

Thanks!

Just skip any line covert erstwhile and get a decent digital signal processor.

That Pioneer has a sub output so all you have to do is unplug your Bose sub at the speaker, then install an amp and new subwoofer. Either install the sub in the stock location or add a new enclosure.

I see this big black piece above passenger foot. Is that where stock sub is located?

Stock subs are either in the console or in the driver side panel in the very rear. Maybe you can turn up the bass, pump the volume and listen for it?
