Does anyone know what wire from the engine block that I'm supposed to upgrade. Lot of controversy on this one.

Just got the battery back and it's bad. I'll be buying a duralast gold tomorrow and a second battery within 1 1/2 just for audio purposes. But for now I'll just use this one for audio since it's still going. I just can't believe a XSPOWER d3400 would only last 8 months in Texas heat. I guess I'll be using a different brand cause the big 3 kit that I bought was also XSPower and it got all brittle and frayed.

Well xs power is a great company if a battery died it's because poor installation "bad connection" causing battery to short or it's a defective battery.. all which should be covered by their warranty if the battery is truely 8months old. Same goes for the wire u said got brittle and frayed... sounds like a really bad connection and caused lots of heat and destroyed the wire and battery

Wire kit was labelled as big three upgrad kit. Turned out to be CCA 0/1 gauge. I'll be redoing the big three again but ofc wire as well as my amps power and ground runs. I took it to a stereo shop that deals with DD audio and other non mainstream audio so I knew I could count on their opinion. He said it was the wire that caused the problems. Today my Ball joints and tie rods went out so the electrical will have to wait for now. I'll be leveling out my Tahoe using a Rough Country leveling kit. I'm going to start a new thread that follows that whole process. Wish me luck cause I'll be following YouTube videos as a guide to do everything. As soon as I start on the electrical/audio I'll start posting pics on here again.

Yea cca wire is JUNK!!!... get some EB flex welding wire. 2/0 is same size as car audio oversized 1/0.. it's only like $1.68 a foot and welding wire is wayyy better then any caraudio OFC wire... u should get on caraudio.com and search around. Lots of good info on there.
