If the rear axle doesn't perpendicular to the frame and front wheels, it will change the direction of motion. That will cause the driver to compensate by turning the steering wheel.
Any wear, slop, or looseness in the suspension will have an impact on drivability.
If a person can move any mount or connection point by hand, or a short pry bar, imagine what about 6,000 lbs does in a curve or corner at speed.

Well that's certainly not helpful! Nonetheless it would not hurt to check all the Caliper slider bolts to make sure they are properly lubed.:
Unfortunately .. it's not darting hard to one side under braking but checking all the slider bolts ... can't hurt.
