Hey 1BAD I recall having a clearance issue with the Vmaxx near the distributor and fuel lines. I had to bend them out of the way. Please post if you had any issues also. Maybe they redesigned it a little. Thanks

Hahaha, yeah same issue here. The fuel line (feed line) is right friggin smack in front of where the #1 plug wire would go. I still want to call them and Bish them out

I'm going to try and bend it some and I will make a new plug wire with a 90* boot instead of the 180* boot.

Otherwise my truck is ready to fire. I flushed out the DEXKill and went with the good old green stuff.

I some how have the clearance to run the VMax manifold spacer kit and the TB spacer.

I did call them on it and they were clueless. There is more room than you think under that hood. I have a Volant CAI and the hat on it is tall...still makes it no problem.

Doing some sand blasting after hours. In the process of a complete front and rear brake rebuild.

I'll try and get a shot of the assembly without the wheels because I got get wheels back off to replace the bumpers which are pretty much gone. I was filthy and running out of time to get the truck servicable.

Well all off my spark plug wire parts arrived yesterday.........I made up a new wire for Cyl #1 and installed it. Damn Taylor VMAX manifold spacer is not a direct simple bolt on(not hard, but they neglected to mention some of the other things you need to modify/adjust)

Its Alive, first crank! I have a CEL for PO1345 (because of the new distributor) So I need to run it over to the shop to get that sorted out.

After the test fire (running idle in place) and getting the temps up and checking the oil PSI i cut it off......all good. Something told me to check the oil level......F' me, there is some coolant in the oil now. The oil was clean before I pulled the intake out. So my safe assumtion is that when I pulled the intake out some coolant spilled in to the valley and made its way down into the crankcase. I checked my overflow tank, no coolant missing there. Fingers crossed

So time to drain the oil, toss the filter. I will buy a couple gallons of cheap oil, Marvels Mystery oil and some filters to clean the motor out. I'll report back when I get this done.

Otherwise, my misfire and emission codes are gone and the truck runs great. I'm just glad I followed my normal quality control measures and checked the oil before I took it on a fun test drive.

You got a side and front pic of your rig with those new oem wheels on? Been wanting to get some for my Yukon but I don't want any surprises as far as how much they'll stick out
