Well, made the trip and hooked up to the trailer. Trailer sits pefectly level. Minor sag ro the rear or the esky as long as the bags are pumped up while its running.

After getting home and parking it... u can see the sag growing as the bags deflate when the esky isnt running.

Other wise the 3300 ish lb trailer towed like a dream... no sway issues, no issues at all.

Did all kind of driving. Slow through a small busy college town, a bit spirited of a ride on some country roads, and even a 70mph jaunt on the highway.

All good. Now to load the car 2moro and go over everything one more time.

The 6.0 is a strong motor, although more power would have helped a bit more. Trans temp did not get any hotter than normal non trailering driving

Just wanted to update.

If the hitch on your Caddy is like the one on my '06 Silverado, it's rated for 5k lbs weight carrying and 10k weight distributing. This means if you aren't using a weight distribution set up the hitch is only rated at 5k lbs. Also, my truck only had a stock tranny cooler and the temps never got past the middle of the gauge even pulling our 5k lb camper in the hills of WV in at 90 degrees running the AC.

@smccollamjr , you're lucky on your trans temps. My 2006 denali XL was constantly going to 200 degrees just around town driving with probably only 100lbs of detailing gear in the back. So I bought a bigger cooler. I do not want my freshly rebuilt transmission to go south so im doing everything I can to keep it well maintained. That being said you guys are lucky with your trans temp staying manageable.

Mine is rated for 10k and does not have accomodations for weight dist bars.
