Have you checked wheel balance ?
What tires came on it ? Bridgstones?

If the truck sat for a bit the bridgstones get flat spots and will cause what you are describing.

It had Yokohama tires, I'll have the dealership check the balance on them. It doesn't happen all the time, today it only started when I was getting to the dealership to drop it off.

I feel for those of you that have spent the big money on a 2015 and have to put up with these problems. And still no cure.
Yokohama is a good tire. I had them once and had good luck.

I'm pushing for them to replace the transmission on it. I have a pretty good relationship with the dealership here, walked in, they looked at few items, got me into a rental, and they were going to let me know later on about what's going on. Tires for most part are okay, except for getting a screw in it after picking up Saturday. Easy enough fix.

Just got the call, tcc being replaced, gm has my XL on lock until it's replaced. Thankfully the dealer put me in a Tahoe for the mean time. Let's see what this does. Any word on if getting the tcm and ecm tuned would have any effect on this issue? I have my autocal from my old Tahoe's BBP tune, tempted to just do that. Thoughts?

The transmission reflash is to fix a hard slam into gears after the vehicle had sat for period of time, say overnight in your garage. Mine would slam into reverse in the morning after sitting when I was putting from park to reverse. The reflash fixed it immediately. Right, wrong or indifferent, because I had over 36K on it, I had to pay the technician time for the reflash.
