Does anyone know the process of unplugging the magnetic ride control wires going into the front struts of 15 up Tahoe/suburban ? Is it just plug and play or something special ? Getting ready to lower the front and I want to be prepared.

When you unplug it it will say on you dash "Service suspension" It will ride a lot better but you can only go 85 MPH max. Going to try 2 ohm resisters on each
to see if the message goes away, then I could use the standard Suburban shocks. well see!!!

Doesn't someone make lowered spring collars so you can retain the magnetic ride control?

Yes, you can retain the magnetic ride with the strut cups. My main concern was how to correctly unplug the magnetic to remove the strut spring to install the lowered cups and re install

You'll have to remove the wires from the actual plug. Not too difficult if you have the correct tools.

I'd go the spindle route if you can though.

Sorry for the confusion. I thought you were deleting the mag ride.

Who makes the strut cups?

No worries. Tony sells them, mcgaughys, and bell tech I believe. No one makes a spindle for the 15 up 4wd as of yet
