I'm looking for some help or advice on shocks for my lowered 96 2 door Yukon. 2 months ago I replaced the shocks with some Belltech 9122 Nitro Drop 2 shocks and Belltech shock mount extenders.. The shocks perform really good with no load on the truck. I have a HEAVY speaker box that takes up the trunk. When I put the box in the truck, the rear bottoms out when I hit bumps. I was wondering is replacing the rear shocks with Monroe MA778 air shocks will solve this problem? I bought the truck lowered so don't know exactly how it was lowered, just know the rear is C notched. Any help is appriciated.

why not an air lift 1000 kit? I read about guys using these pretty often, and plan to do so myself.

I have not read about anyone using the monroes.
