Upgrade '16 Denali to HDMI input from '17 models?
I read his post. I should have used the term workable instead of plug and play. The head unit already accepts digital signal(ie Blu-ray player) so therefore there is no need to convert the signal using a DAC. The 2017 board has one extra usb and what appears to be a 6 pin connector instead of a...- topman118

Upgrade '16 Denali to HDMI input from '17 models?
It has to be plug and play but maybe lose the additional usb and or sd slot. We already know that Blu-ray player is connected to my link via HDMI or similar proprietary cable. This leads me to believe that the 2017 module will plug and play directly. I will order part soon and try it out.- topman118
