My boss owns a 2015 Escalade. Almost identical in every way to the Denali, for the most part. He's had $9000 in repairs in the past two years. These CLEARLY are not a well made vehicle.
I understand what you're saying about the battery. I live in upstate NY, where we can have some extremely cold weather. In 30 years of driving, I've never, ever had a battery fail this quickly. I routinely get 5-7 years out of a battery, even in these harsh conditions we have 4-5 months a year...
I decided to trade in this malady of a vehicle after 7 horrific months of ownership. First month in, I had to replace the shark fin antenna. ($350) Known to leak...mine did. Next was the interior A-pillar molding: just popped off one day while I was driving. The clips that hold it in place...
Thanks! When I took it to the dealer for the initial diagnosis, the dealer told me that HOPEFULLY the problem is with the condenser, because it's covered under warranty. Of course, it was the compressor, which wasn't. This is the first vehicle I HAVEN'T bought an extended warranty on and I'm...
I took it to a local shop, a guy I've known for years and is as honest as the day is long. We couldn't wait to order one on E-Bay as I was leaving to go out of town for vacation the next day. He looked for a refurbished one and for one one at a local parts recycling company-nobody had one in...
I purchased a used (but seemingly in great condition) 2015 Denali four months ago. Since the purchase, I've had the driver's side interior A pillar molding pop off. Clips broke and it had to be replaced. I've had to replace the OnStar/Sirius XM shark fin antenna - popped an error code a month...
I ended up taking it to the dealership to get fixed. $367 out the door and everything works perfectly. They said they change A LOT of them. I told him of my concern for pulling the headliner and he told me only the portion under the antenna needs to be loosened. I do a lot of business with these...
I bought a 2015 Denali about a month ago. I drive a lot of back roads with some substantial hills, that combined with city driving gets me roughly 15.1 mpg. On the highway, I regularly average about 19.5 - 20 MPG. Much better than the 2011 Avalanche LTZ I traded in. It had a 5.3 that felt...
Nope. I turned off the easy exit option in the DIC and programmed all three buttons on the door to the same positional settings. I'm the only one who drives the vehicle, so while I never truly figured out what it is, at least it works.
UPDATE:
I turned off the easy exit option in the DIC yesterday and everything still moved upon exiting the vehicle. Last night, I programmed all three buttons, numbers 1 & 2, and the easy exit button (previously only 1 & easy exit were programmed) all to the same settings. The...
I have the easy exit button programmed to the same setting as my number one. I also turned off the easy exit option in the menu. The seats still revert back to some random position. I'm going to try programming the number 2 the same and see what happens!
I recently purchased a 2015 Denali. The seats, mirrors and pedals revert to some obligatory position whenever I exit the vehicle. Every time I get in the Denali, I have to press and hold down the "1" to get it back to my preferences. (I have both the "1" and "exit" buttons programmed to my...
