14 months and finally giving up....

Please don't flame, just need to vent. I owned a 2007 Tahoe (loved it) and purchased a 2015 in December of 2014. I am so disappointed in this truck and i've just had enough. I love Chevy but this is probably my last one. My personal experience and issues are as follows, would be interesting...

Most notable difference between 07 and 15 Tahoe....

Very Very Very smooth and silent on highway and normal roadways. Imperfections in the road and especially speed bumps, the ride does not compare to the 07. Hitting a speed bump a even a low rate of speed is like running into a curb practically. Feels like the truck is going to crack. Seriously.

Most notable difference between 07 and 15 Tahoe....

My 2015 seems to have a much QUIETER ride inside, BUT also a much ROUGHER ride, on anything less than perfectly paved streets. Does the 15's have that much of a dramatic drop off suspension wise than 8 years prior ???

I'll send breakdown tomorrow (maybe it will help someone along the way), but it was $750 off for USAA and another 8 something for GEX code and other stuff. That being said, i think they did the flat number we threw out there regardless of the GM supplier discount. They were at $49,143 yesterday...

yes, i've done that, and i'm at about 7k off MSRP. Issue is the car has 3,000 miles on it and consensus around here is I should be able to get it to around 10K off MSRP. MSRP is $56,100

Let me ask you a question, what do you think would be the right rice point off MSRP for an on location 3K miles loaner with exactly what you want with the exception of color preferred ? Using the GEX code... Sorry for all the questions, thx though. ---------- Post added at 12:28 PM...

With the employee pricing, do you negotiate ahead of time, etc., or do you just walk into the dealer, give them your code up front and the employee price is the price ?
