    I have the same NR4 transfer case. It has served me well with anything I have needed it for. I have had it driving on the beach in the Outer Banks and have had no issues other than the first time I took it out there and did not have the traction control off.

    I pushed the stabilitrack button last night and the only thing it did was a single chime, said stability sys disabled, and had the t/c light up in the dash. They both stayed on until I hit the button again to turn it back on.

    I don’t recall hearing a noise when I hit the top button. I’m thinking it’s more electronic as it disables the stability and traction control. I will have to check later when I get a chance.
