Huh, I never noticed that unthreaded section of the nut. I am sure its fine, but that would probably make me nervous.

    Coil spring orientation/ pigtail direction

NP. The thing is on a torsion cranked front end your limit would still be the same amount collapsed @ the bump stops and the same amount extended at the limit of the stock A arms, so I don't see any reason why you would need to be lifted to run those. Ideally you are close to the middle of the...

    Coil spring orientation/ pigtail direction

You can run 5100's on the front. They are typically listed as "0-2 " lift or some such notation. Hmm This one is saying 2-2.5. You used to be able to get that info for the 4600s also. Part Number:24-186643 Collapsed Length (IN)12.54 Extended Length (IN)16.30 Collapsed Length (MM)318.5 Extended...

    Coil spring orientation/ pigtail direction

Shocks should only effect resting ride height in any meaningful way in a scenario when you have air bladders like the stock auto ride system or additional helper springs like Monroe Load Adjusting Shocks.

That is called the chevy lean. Not uncommon obviously. Drivers side tank weighs that side down. Is the tank full? Check it nearly empty? You could use either 4600 or 5100s. They are valved differently. Linear vs digressive. " Linear Valving Liner valving is characterized by a high flow rate at...

change your fluid. keep it cool. Don't beat on it. You can do a vette servo and aftermarket trans cooler like a trukool 40k or something if you want to try to get the most out of it. Some can last 200k+ if well taken care of/babied.

I rounded off the nut on the first pulley installer tool I bought and didnt get it flush. I have a tendency to over torque things so I try to err on the other side. I may just be being too cautious. A little heat on the pulley with a torch next time might help too. I was using 2 combo wrenches...
