Well I did it. For anyone with any mechanical skill don't be afraid of it. I successfully rebuilt my first transmission, however I encountered another reason why the last one went bye bye. The solenoid pack is bad so I have to get another one. I've seen in a few of the caddy and corvette forums...- tfd33-tahoe

Well then..... The bottom is what the clutch "should" look like Warped piston dam is what screwed it all up. No fluid, lots of heat, bye bye clutch pack. Some of the clutches still had life but all in all it was fubared. Now to wait for the new piston and piston dam/clip to get here...- tfd33-tahoe

You'll all be apart of it start to finish. I've watched videos gotten all the manuals and I'm sure I can handle it. The clutch to clutch design is actually pretty simple but when one component goes the others don't fall to far behind. I'm gonna take a shit ton of pics while I do it so we will...- tfd33-tahoe

How many of us had our rides busted into?!
I had my car broken into a couple of years ago. I lived in a fairly quiet neighborhood at the time so it was a shock to me that it happened.
