If it were your fan clutch your engine temp would be getting hotter than normal, I say you just need your freon level topped off. Just have somebody hook up some guages and check your high and low pressures.

Would I need to use shock extenders with the GF springs using stock shocks?
I found a smoking killer deal on a McGaughys lowering kit that came off of a 2007 Yukon (Spindles, coils, shocks) on craigslist. The kits have different part numbers but they look very similar. Cant really tell much difference in the spindles and the only difference i can see on the coils is one...
I doubt its a lift point on the valve cover, it would rip off with all the weight. Usually you lift from the block! Its probably for some type of acc. bracket that isnt available for your model. Im sure those valve cover are mass produced and used on many different applications!
