Cute. But doesn't work. I have mud flaps. A big olé set of Yosemite Sam trucker flaps would be as sexy as a four ball Tom cat but won't do much good for tire mist. Lol:grd:
Posting this here because this was never a problem on street tires and anyone with mud grips pr ATs will look here...
My new KM2 tires rooster tail so bad in the rain that I can't see ANYTHING behind me in the rain. That's a problem. Safety is at stake!
I accidentally found the solution...
Thanks much!
I've got about 1,000 miles on these now and they do GREAT in everthing. rain: Pulls a bit in puddles but no hydroplane
Snow : was riding around in 8 inches of snow and ice for about 8 hours in 2wd. Folks around me sliding all over the place and I never spun a tire...not...
Eh. Like I said. I think its all gonna work out better if I rebuild some stuff before putting 35s on here. Try to take care of her and treat her right...
also. These km2s do REALLY well offroad. Well...compared to the bfg all terrains when new. Muddy hunting trails are no match for these...
They've got a beautiful hum to them. Nothing the radio wont cover up or even the defroster on medium. If you're the kind of guy who hates the tire noise...I love it myself. My BFG ATs had got a bit mouthy there at the end...only 82k miles on them...I think I should write the company on that...
Well... due to every shop wanting over my $3500 budget for lift and tires ive had to postpone the lift...going to get my new 285 75 16s today. BF Goodrich Mud Terrain KM2. Stock wheels. May turn the keys a bit if need be. Ill save and rebuild the suspension. Then save for new wheels and a body...
I drive 5k miles a year so that buys me a bit of time before gears have to be bought. Already priced that out to. 1200 for 4.55 front and rear with a Yukon zip locker out back too. New u joints and axle seals at the same time. Plus doing a motor/trans later in the year too.
ordering this...
Duely noted. And duely AVOIDED!!
No RC3 for thus guy! I think im gonna just bite the bullet and do a full 6 inch and be done with it. Its around 3 grand for lift and tires but its a one and done kinda deal.
Ever heard of Zone lift kits? Local shop is really pushing them but ive never heard...
Thanks brother. I have my local shop building me a quote now on the BL plus a crank. Will add the RCX3 inch in a few months just for peace of mind and replace anything worn on the front end. Then later on down the road gears and lockers. I really appreciate your help.
ok, so everything im reading and hearing from shops is that there is no way that i can fit 35s without going with a full 6 inch...
surely a 3BL plus a 3 suspension will do the same?

$3500 for a 6 inch lift...
ok so i looked at the RCX 2-3 inch lift. looks sweet. especially knowing that it comes with UCAs and ball joints. and shocks.
ill have 600 tied up in it. 50 in the steering stab. and 300 for the 3 inch body lift.
beats 1600 for the RCX 6 inch time you figure in the new axles up front thanks to...
