    What’s this noise??

What should I look for for a worn out CV joint?

    Two New Trucks

I have direct replacement LEDs in my Denali. They plug and play with the factory connector and twist right into the socket. Had them for almost 3 years now with no issues. Highly recommend. As far as the foggy lenses, you can sand and polish them to get rid of the damaged layer, or pickup an...

    What’s this noise??

Thanks everyone for the input. I haven’t had a chance to jack it up and check for play yet. Question… it’s better to replace the whole hub rather than just the bearing, correct?

2001 Tahoe Radio Volume Not Adjusting

I know this sounds counter intuitive, but instead of replacing the amp (if that is the problem) you might consider replacing the radio with an aftermarket head unit and bypassing the amp (properly of course ;)).

2001 Tahoe Radio Volume Not Adjusting

My guess would be to start tracing those wires from the previous owner. If they had a aftermarket head unit installed, they likely bypassed the factory amp.

    2001 yukon electrical issue

Aaaaaand crickets lol. But in the off-chance the OP comes back to read and reply... you said your battery is good. How do you know? Was it tested professionally to be good? You said you start and stop the truck all day. That would wreak havoc on a battery. Is it cold in the morning where you...

2001 Tahoe Radio Volume Not Adjusting

You don't have the Bose radio right? I know in my rig, there is a Bose amplifier that must receive the signal to turn on, otherwise no sound.

2001 Tahoe Radio Volume Not Adjusting

That’s quite a hack job back there that someone did. That black box is not factory. Looks like an AUX adapter. I also see someone added an in-line fuse in that yellow holder attached to the red wire. Have you checked if that fuse is good? No idea what it’s for, but may as well rule that out too...

    Gas pedal

I don't think the problem is that the throttle is too sensitive, it's the physical spring on the gas pedal. There's no "dampening" or whatever. Causes it to be springy/bouncy. Especially when going over bumps or rough road. Your foot keeps bouncing the gas pedal. Think of it like a car with...

    Gas pedal

They don't make 'em for our generation of trucks :(

    Gas pedal

My '03 Denali is the same way. IIRC everyone's is. Very springy gas pedal. You just kinda get used to it after awhile.

2006 Yukon XL Power Driver seat isn't working, and neither heated seats

Good find. Likely the seat bottom pad is bad like I mentioned. I went to a junkyard and pulled one off of a seat there.

Unable to adjust settings on DIC

Not necessarily. It could be intermittent and starting to fail, but still have some functionality. When mine went bad, it would mostly work, but sometimes if I had the steering wheel at just the right angle, like turning on a freeway overpass and tried to adjust the volume of the radio, it...

2006 Yukon XL Power Driver seat isn't working, and neither heated seats

Correct. I was just addressing that particular issue. I vaguely remember something about if the brake switch or even something as small as a brake bulb was faulty, it would disable cruise control, power seat functionality, and the seat memory function. I could be remembering wrong though.
