    I like that teardrop cowl! I've been looking for one but they are all at least $450 shipped to me... might have to scavenge craigslist for a while. That HD cowl hood reminded me of the hood on my 68 chevy truck!

    So the square tubing that you showed, you cut that off and dropped it down about 1.5" so that half of it is hanging down and not attached? It seems like that would really degrade the ability of the bumper to absorb impact, don't you think? Or did you weld in some support?

    Is it possible to use the HD grille with the regular bumper trim? I'm thinking of doing this one piece at a time. What about with the stock hood? I'd like to get just the grill on there to see how it looks at each stage if possible.

    It was a rhetorical question ;) What happens is your axle hits the frame and bad things happen! Otherwise they wouldn't be there... Of course if your springs are set up to bottom out before you have metal on metal contact, then you're all good.

    Caring for Leather Seats

    Sounds good, be sure to take some before/afters. Luckily my seats are nice except the outer bottom section of my driver's seat. It's got some lines that look like they might turn to cracks in the future.
