    Question on Synthetic Oil

    No.....it's an OBS.....put new front ones one the day I got the right upper and lower ball joints replaced (bought those at NAPA). Did the rears a few months later with Monroes I bought off Amazon. The truck had the original shocks on it at 240,000 miles.

    Isn't that pretty much every NAPA branded product? My truck has "NAPA" shocks in the front and Monroe shocks in the rear.....and they are both Monroe SensaTrack shocks.

    A/C No Go....

    My A/C does not work.....press the button and the light goes on, but if you look under the hood, the pulley on the compressor is not turning. Any ideas? A mechanic buddy of mine said that sometimes when they need to be recharged, they just won't start up to avoid damaging the components.

    You tow in 4WD? Unless you are in adverse conditions, sounds like a very bad idea. Not supposed to be in 4WD on dry pavement.
