Towing with 2016 Tahoe LTZ
Just bought a 25' Sea Ray 250 SLX this past weekend. I had no problems whatsoever towing it 200+ miles home. Was a little worried being on 24" rims without a lot of sidewalk but it towed like a dream. That's a 5500# boat + trailer.- Oakley125

Looks awesome! My opinion is yes, def go to 24's and no, don't lower rear any further. A tiny bit of rake, like yours, looks just right on this truck body. Too low in the back and your truck starts to look like you've got an overloaded trunk...kinda goofy like reverse rake- Oakley125

I actually like them from a distance. I think they look solid. They're a younger / sportier look for sure...but then again so is blacking out your entire truck. Nice truck dude. -

ajs800, good point. There is no doubt huge sidewalls (like on a set of 17" wheels) will produce a softer ride. My running sneakers are also way softer than my leather dress shoes. But they probably wouldn't look so great when I'm wearing a nice suit. -

"Denali132", Is that your black-on-black suburban in your profile pic? I've seen these exact covers on a black Yukon around town. They don't look too bad, they definitely pop so go for it if you like em. Post pics after please. IMO the only time to use em' would be a on a dark grey or black... -

Thanks! I love em' -- can't wait to get that back end level. I'm not a big wheel kinda guy but 24's seem spot on with these suv's... especially the long wheel bases (XL, ESV, Suburban). And my goal with these specific rims was to avoid them seeming really "after market" looking if that makes... -
