    It will give you Bluetooth hands free calling in any 2007 or 2008 GM truck using factory steering wheel controls. This feature didn't come out until 2009 so its a great mod to do with the 07 and 08's

    Hey guys I came across a VCIM at the parts yard this weekend. It came from a 2009 Black Yukon. This would be great for someone with a 07 or 08 black Yukon that wants to retain onstar. Of course it will work in any 07 and UP GM truck but at least onstar would recognize you as the same color/body...

    You cannot cycle through your contacts but you can save voice recongnized names so that all you have to do is say the name of the person you want to call and it will dial automatically. Unit still available!

    Suburban VCIM Bluetooth

    I have a bluetooth VCIM from a 2009 Chevy Suburban. Would make a great swap for someone with a 2007 or 2008 that wants to add bluetooth and keep onstar. 20783877 is the part number. It will work on many other 07,08 and 09 tahoes or yukons escalades ect... You will need to get the bluetooth...

    It is a good deal. That is about what they would get if they traded it in. I think it comes down to how important the warranty is to you. If its not that big a deal then go with the 2011 but if you want to have a little piece of mind then the 09 with the warranty would be the way to go.

    Here is what i would do. I would offer the private party owner 34,000 and use that extra 2000 to put toward a warranty. That 2011 might be under warranty for only a few more miles so the extra warranty will come in handy. See if that works and tell the owner that if they dont take the deal...

    I would say that with the money you will be saving try and put some aside for a rainy day repair that might pop up. Dont put yourself in a situation where if something goes wrong you cant afford to fix it. Especially if its a daily driver
