i feel you on that damn dash brace.. it makes it really hard to pull the blower motor too. Kudos to you for tackling that dash teardown.. dont think i would have the patience to.
i can see about picking up some hvac controls.. i paid 39.00 at my local salvage yard.. im sure i could find a couple more if that is indeed the problem.

ok... so my problem is fixed.. when i pulled the controls i noticed that the blower switch plug was actually melted inside by the terminals.. quick run the picknpull and walked around for 45 min trying to find one i got it all fixed.. works great..

Im gonna break this down as simple as i can get it.. theres no power getting to the blower motor... all fuses are good and the blower motor itself is good.
No air blows up front.. rear ac works just fine.. i can still control the temperature of the air seeping into the truck thru the vents. When i hit the circulation button it stops all air coming in the front. The front blower motor on the passenger side works.. still need to fix the no air...
