    Thanks. Back in the day, I was throwing that pesky cam / crank shaft sensor code and bought both of them. Ended up being the one on the underside of the block. Anyways.........parts are all still free. Gonna keep um for a week or so more

    Thats what i'm hoping. I have the heads back on and ready to start the torque seq. Give me a day or so and I'll tell you if that was all that was wrong. Hopefully nothing is going on with the cam

    Thanks man. My timing was def. off before this happened. When I checked it, the computer read it at 16 degrees off, when it should be at 0. Now, to find new heads or rebuild my valves......

    Brake lights work. Plus it intermittently works, which suggests maybe a electrical control module or something. I don't really even know if there is such a thing on these. Anyone?
