Replacing fog lights

Rebuilt transmission died at 33k....
Not happy right now! I got my '04 Suburban 1500 4x4 in December of 2015. Did great pulling our little T@B trailer through Colorado for most of 2016. What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?
Not today but yesterday.... My '04 'Burb is a Tow Pig, and we spend most of the Summer pulling a 3500# trailer up and down Colorado's 11,000'+ passes. 4x4 transfer case swap 2004 GMC yukon
Besides the T-case and the button, I think you would also need the ECU off of the donor vehicle because the NR4 4wd system is integrated with the traction control. I'm not even sure if they'd be compatible.- Martinjmpr

He likely has the one that looks like this. Note that there's no 2wd position Top is traction control on/off, middle is 4hi, bottom is 4 low. I don't know if the center differential locks on this one. Given the age of these vehicles I would think it'd be much simpler to sell your Yukon...- Martinjmpr

Well, after 3 years of owning the Suburban I can confidently say, "no, there is not a fix for this." The DIC is simply not readable in bright light, that's just the way it is. I even had my instrument cluster rebuilt by Circuit Board Medics (which fixed the dim PRND321 indicator just fine)...- Martinjmpr

My 5100 front shocks don't look anything like that. They don't have a "ring" on the upper end as they go into a shock tower and are then secured with a nut.- Martinjmpr

I'd have to say buyers. If a seller's ad is lousy (as many are) you can just bypass it. I'm sure as hell not going to waste my time trying to buy something if the seller won't even post a legible ad, post a decent picture, or respond to an email. Buyers, OTOH, are time wasters. Does anyone know where to get detailed VIN info for free?
You can get a printout of the build sheet based on the VIN for your vehicle from Chevy but I don't know if they will let you run the VIN of a vehicle that's not yours - might be worth a try.- Martinjmpr

Do you know what ratio? It should be on the RPO code sticker on the dash. Also you can create an account with GM and they will send you a build sheet that shows all the options your vehicle has based on the VIN. I'm resisting the impulse to say "sell it and buy a Prius" but I actually do get it - when you have to pay for gas, it makes sense to get the best MPG you can.
