Forgot to update last week. New motor is in, just needs to be hooked up. Glad I went through all the hassle of painting the block, it really shows (see image three) gotta wait for my buddy’s schedule to line up with mine to get it closer to done. But it’s in!
That’s outside my realm, bud. The old seats may have had a weight sensor or something that the Tahoe seats don’t? I’m unfamiliar with the system, I just did the sensor-less center console myself
It pulled the old assembly alright at that setting. Had to put it there to get past the bumper, but I might pull it as well for ease of install and set the crane for 1/2 ton
Been a minute, fellers. Bought an engine and transmission early last year to freshen up the Tahoe, and shortly after I lost third and fourth gear. So she’s been parked up while I fix up the replacement. Put a Truck Norris in the motor after getting it cleaned up at the machine shop and threw a...

Re-pinned the connector (I had the hot wire in the wrong spot) and now it works like a charm! Apparently all these basic motorized seats need is a power and ground.
Very long time, no post. The motor went out in my driver’s seat a while back so I’m trying to swap in some inexpensive seats from an ‘03+ To my ‘02 but having difficulty figuring out the wiring. So I’ll be nice and close to my steering wheel until I get it figured out!
Pretty positive the one I got is aftermarket. Drove to Houston to get it, but it was in primer and the gaps are slightly bigger than the factory hood, but anywhere further than 5 feet and you can't tell
