    The previous owner removed the parking brake? How long ago was that? And why would he do that? Did he remove the cable? Or the drum too? Sounds like your parking brake is grabbing due to the reason he removed it.

    Dont taste it, that's reckless. Look under the throttle body, there are two small coolant lines in and out that have a tendency to leak under pressure.

    Ya im keeping my motor. Its getting rebuilt back to stock for now. I plan on keeping my truck forever, so a fresh stock 5.3 and 4L60E in the garage will be nice when it comes time to smog it.

    Ive got 352,000 on my 02, curious if yours is burning oil or failing smog? Mine still passes smog here in Calif. And im not burning oil. But compared to my girlfriends 6.0 yukon it feels like a prius. So I might go ahead and do it. Any thoughts out there.
