    Looks like a valve cover gasket on one of the pictures, but could be a combination of that and the valley pan gasket.

    Have a paint shop do a hard blend and repaint those panels and buff the entire suv. A hard blend will get the paint as close as possible to the existing color (paint fades over time)

    I'm sorry that you are going thru this, I would have the shop redo the work. I bet they used the wrong oring and didn't even clean the pick up tube. Apparently those yahoos have never worked on an LS engine to know that the pick up tube needs to be cleaned. It's hard to believe that an LS engine...

    I've have also used oem bolts and tighten the bolts as if they were arp bolts and have not had one to fail yet.

    I used arp hardware, the arp bolts get tighten with a torque wrench. The ARPs are three pass in the stock procedure. First pass is 30-35lbs, second is 50-55lbs, and the final pass is 70-75lbs for the large bolts, 25lbs for the small bolts if I recall correctly.

    Only high end obd readers read suspension codes. There's a thread on this forum that shows members that have a Tech II along with their locations. You might get lucky and be close to one of the members. They can scan the suspension codes for you.

    It the radiator has the internal transmission cooler I would, or just bypass that cooler.

    ^x2. These transmissions are not like the old ones. They need servicing more often like @swathdiver said.
